AT&T U-verse - Manage Sub Account Profile

Manage Sub Account Profile

This section allows you to view the sub account profile and manage the permissions granted to the sub account.

The Profile section displays the Member ID, first name, last name, nickname, gender, alternative email, and status.

To change the sub account's password, simply specify the sub account's current password and the new password. You also will have to reconfirm the new password. If the sub account is under the age of 13, then you will not be required to specify the sub account's current password. The new password must adhere to the following password rules:

1. Passwords are case sensitive.
2. Passwords must be 6-24 characters long.
3. Password characters must be alphanumeric.
4. Password must contain at least one alpha character and at least one numeric character.
5. Password cannot match Member ID.
6. Password cannot have any special characters except hyphen (-) and/or underscore (_).
7. Avoid using personal information, such as name, birth date or ZIP code.

Please keep in mind that if you change the sub account's password, he or she will not be able to access his or her AT&T U-verse account.

If you have AT&T High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled service, then you will see the email address that has been assigned to the sub account. If the sub account has not completed registration, then there will be a link that will direct you to a Internet registration website to finish that process.

When finished modifying the sub account, click the Save button.

To suspend an active sub account, click the Suspend button at the bottom of the screen. You will be directed to a confirmation screen. When you have confirmed the suspension, the sub account will be placed in 'suspended' status. After 90 days, the suspended sub account will be deleted from the system. Within the 90 days, you will have the opportunity to reactivate the sub account.

To reactive a suspended sub account, click the Reactivate button at the bottom of the screen. The sub account will be placed into 'active' status. Keep in mind that this button will be disabled if you already have the maximum number of ten (10) active sub accounts. In order to reactivate a sub account when you have ten (10) active sub accounts, you must first suspend one of your active sub accounts.
